Face Verification – Face API – Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services

This article is in continuation of the series for Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services. The previous two articles are as follows.

  1. Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services APIs
  2. Face API – Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services

Face Verification

Face API verification performs an authentication against two detected faces or authentication from one detected face to one person object.

In the code above the two arguments being passed are face ids which are Guids you get from images uploaded. This code snippet is part of the ASP.Net Core application in continuation to the previous article. Here the returned verifiedResult variable is getting the object containing two values Confidence score and IsIdentical boolean value. I am passing these both values to the view through ViewBag. In the view I am showing these values in the Image loaded event.

Following is the output of the application after uploading two images of a person.
